"The function of the pub is company, human nearness.. snugness not smugness." ~ Nikolas Pevsner
Nestled snugly in the middle of the Five Points neighborhood, The Royal Peasant is a quaint version of an old English Pub. Come on down and enjoy either lunch or dinner at this British themed restaurant with comfortable seating available inside, at the bar, or on the outdoor patio.
The menu features traditional British fare and new London fare, which has a bit of an Indian influence. The simple menu features food fit for Peasants, (house chips and lambs stew) and food fit for Royals (bangers and mash or fish and chips).
Or, drop on by anytime for a warm seat at the bar. Share a pint with friends and colleagues after work or kick back in front of the High-Def 'telly' to see the best teams battle it out in football - that's association football, of course, otherwise known as soccer to those not in-the-know.
At the bar, The Royal Peasant features English and Scottish brews along with select International beers and American craft beers, select wines and drink specials with a United Kingdom flair.
The Royal Peasant pub is more than just a place to eat and wet your whistle. It's a place where friends meet and colleagues 'talk shop'; a place where people gather to celebrate, watch games, or seek quiet relaxation.
