He Garryowen offers a wide array of traditional Irish fare. Shepherd's pie, Guinness beef stew, Bangers & Mash and the traditional Ulster Fry are just a few of our regulars' favorites. The menu is rounded out nicely with fresh, fire-grilled burgers, sandwiches, house-made soups, and refreshing salads. Try our Magners Glazed Scallops, or thick-cut, certified choice Hereford Strip Steaks, grilled to your liking.
We are constantly striving to offer new and exciting items for our lunch & dinner specials, and our Chef takes great pride in utilizing fresh, gourmet, and local ingredients. This includes everything from locally sourced meats, produce & fruit, to Irish-imported sausage, Irish Farmhouse cheeses, and house-made sauces, soups, & desserts.
OCTOBER MEANS OYSTERS!
Join us every weekend in October for fresh, raw oysters served with home made cocktail sauce & lemon. Pair them with a perfectly-poured Guinness for a classic combination, or try with our house porter, Stubborn Irish Prig, for a new flavor. The peat-smoke of the Prig combines perfectly with the oysters, and has become a favorite pair.
