You may have problems listening to the music. I am in the process of changing the code to HTML 5 compliant.
These are songs from my site that were popular in Ireland, arranged in chronological order. I have struggled to put them in APPROXIMATE/BEST GUESS date order. There are some for which I have no clue as to a date, so these may appear randomly placed. If you have an educated correction, please let me know.
Also, be advised that for the early ballads, the century may not be the date the tune AND words were known. The date I have used is for the original ballad or air to which the song can be linked. The tunes and words here are modern variants of the originals.
If you wish to use any of these tunes in an archive or on a webpage READ THIS.
Once this is complete, the midi music control will play using the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.

Please note these words and tunes are not authentic to the time period. These are later variants of the broadsides.
