Rare Whiskies

The Twa Dugs has a whisky to suit every palate . . . as well as every budget.

We stock all the most popular blended brands - like Johnnie Walker and The Famous Grouse.

But we are specially proud of our range of finest malts from distilleries like Highland Park on the isle of Orkey , down through the famous names of Speyside and across to the Isles.

Very few bars locally will be able to offer you a dram of 18 year old Bowmore or 16 year old Tomintoul.

Cask Ales

The Twa Dugs tries to cater for every taste - and in any good pub that has to include the traditional beer drinker.

We have scoured the UK - but especially Scotland - for brewers that offer quality cask ales.

Our hand-pulled taps usually offer at least one of the classic ales like Deuchars, Caledonian 80/-, London Pride, Old Speckled Hen and Marstons Pedigree.

But we also use smaller independent Scottish brewers like Kelburne and The Houston Brewing Company for ales like Peters Well, Texas, Auld Copperheid, Goldihops, Pivo Estivo and Dark Moor.

Our pub is supported by the local Campaign for Real Ale group and regularly hosts their members.

The Twa Dugs also has worldwide rights to it's very own beer, Tartan Army Ale, made under license by the Kelburne Brewing Company.
